Things to do in Monaco

Monaco in July offers a superb selection of things to see and do. Here are a few of our favourites.

1 – Relax on Larvotto Beach

The stunning Larvotto Beach is the ideal way to spend a lazy summer day drenched in the warm Mediterranean sunshine. The Larvotto beach recently underwent a re-development and now boasts a stunning beach-side promenade with brand new terraces and restaurants surrounded by some of the most refined properties for sale in Monaco. Designed by renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano, this new space includes a cycle path, ample trees, a gym, and a diving school. Of course, the highlight remains the same; the pristine Larvotto Beach lapped by the azure blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

2 – Visit the open-air Cinema

For movie lovers, one of the best summer in Monaco activities is to visit the superb open-air cinema, boasting the biggest screen in Europe. The cinema is set in a breath-taking location on Monaco’s Rocher with panoramic sea views. Screenings run from mid-June to the first week of September and include a mixture of the latest blockbuster movies alongside classic films. The open-air cinema has 500 seats and includes a bar offering a wide range of sweets and refreshments, including Champagne.

3 – Enjoy the Monte-Carlo Summer Festival

During the summer months, another superb thing to do in Monaco is to book tickets for the annual Monte-Carlo Summer Festival. The festival is one of the biggest live music festivals in the world, boasting a roster of internationally acclaimed artists. Events are held at the iconic Salle des Etoiles, considered one of the most fascinating venues in Europe.
