The development of the new eco-district of Mareterra Monaco is on-track, with the construction of various superstructures now well underway.
Mareterra is scheduled to be completed by 2025 and will offer spectacular super prime residences along the Monaco waterfront, including luxury apartments, penthouses, townhouses, and exceptionally rare villas. The new Monaco land extension will also include lush gardens, a new marina, shops, and a seafront promenade. Built with sustainability in mind, once complete Mareterra Monaco will be the most exclusive address in the Principality of Monaco.
Mareterra Monaco construction progress
The Mareterra Monaco construction team has started demolishing parts of the structure that supported the route for firefighters’ access to make way for the extension of the Monegasque Cultural and Congress Centre. The work will increase the cultural and congress centre’s exhibition capacity by 50% and provide enhanced outdoor spaces to make the most of the city-state’s year-round sunshine.
The structural work of the block located on the Port Hercule side of Renzo is also now completed. The Le Renzo development will feature a series of refined waterfront residences, including elegant seafront apartments and penthouses. Le Renzo has been designed by the acclaimed architectural firm, Renzo Piano Building Workshop, headed up by Renzo Piano. Once completed, Le Renzo will take on the form of a fragmented vessel that will rise above a bustling retail plaza and port at Mareterra Monaco.

Work also continues on the ‘cap’ overlooking the Petit Portier shops, which will run along the marina waterfront.
The Jardins d’Eau buildings are also on schedule, with construction set to be completed by the end of the month. These elegant buildings will epitomise life on the Rivieria, with extensive balconies that will enable residents to make the most of the Mediterranean climate. They will also boast a raft of luxury amenities, including a spa and swimming pools.
Most recently, structural work on Mareterra Monaco’s luxury villas has ended. Each residence will, once complete, boast up to 2,500 square metres of living space. They will feature a modern, contemporary aesthetic with an attractive stone façade and large glass windows that will help blur the lines between the interior and exterior.

Mareterra Monaco to connect Larvotto
Mareterra Monaco will connect with the recently re-developed Larvotto beach via an elegant seafront promenade, offering its residents ease of access to one of Monaco’s most delightful amenities and a way to reconnect with the sea.
The newly developed Larvotto elevates Monaco’s only public beach with an elegant two-storey beach resort complex, restaurants, cafes, and boutiques. The expanded public area also includes a new kids’ playground, a cycle track, and lush green foliage.
Just like Maretterra Monaco, sustainability has been at the forefront of Larvotto Beach’s development to align with Prince Albert’s desire for the principality to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
